"The members of Station 19 pack their gear and head to Los Angeles, California, to help battle a deadly wildfire raging out of control," the official synopsis of Station 19 Season 2 Episode 17 (finale) reads via Carter Matt. "While the team works to evacuate residents, they meet Terry (played by Patrick Duffy), and Ben Warren makes a split-second decision that changes both of their lives... Meanwhile, Andy and Sullivan continue to explore their attraction to each other," it added.

The team will be joined by brave and talented firefighters, Dylan (guest star Nyle DiMarco) and Terry (Patrick Duffy). The former is said to be a brave and talented firefighter who has worked hard to prove his capabilities despite being deaf, while the latter is described as a salt-of-the-earth guy and is generous, loving and confident.

The upcoming "Into the Wildfire" episode marks the finale of Station 19 Season 2. There is no word yet if ABC will pick up the action-drama television series for a third season. But if it ends up seeing another season, it will be without a creator, and showrunner Stacy McKee since her contract with the studio has already expired.

"After working underneath the Shondaland umbrella for over 15 straight years, Stacy's deal is up, and she is taking the opportunity to move ahead in a new direction," Shondaland vice president Kristin Robinson said in a press statement obtained by TheWrap. "Stacy feel she's accomplished what she set out to do, which was to successfully launch the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, Station 19, through two complete seasons. She is now looking forward to what comes next."

The finale of Station 19 Season 2 airs on May 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
