Fans of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation can now rejoice as it has been confirmed that the popular television series will be back for Season 3. With that, here's everything fans need to know about the next installment, including the release date, returning cast members and possible plot.
The seven housemates from the original Jersey Shore - Pauly D, Snooki, Michael Sorrentino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, JWoww, Vinny Guadagnino and Deena Nicole Cortese - will all return for more drama and adventures in Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 3. There's no word of a release date yet, but it is expected to premiere sometime in summer.
As for the plot, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 3 will explore recurring cast member Angelina Pivarnick's troubled past and the reasons why some of her family and relatives will not be attending her upcoming wedding to Chris Larangeira.
"I don't have a family really," the 32-year-old television personality said in an interview with Life & Style Magazine, as quoted by Cinema Blend. "I have my sister, my uncle, and that's it. I don't talk to my mother, I don't talk to my father. That's another reason why I have deep-seeded (sic) issues from my childhood that nobody knows about... I hope that this new season I can open up more about that," she added.
Back in Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 2, Angelina Pivarnick shared to her fellow cast members that her childhood was not easy and her parents did not have a good relationship due to his father's abusive attitude and cheating ways. Also, her father once told her the only reason she was born was so he could get his jail sentence reduced.
On a lighter note, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 3 might follow Angelina Pivarnick and fiancé Chris Larangeira's preparations for their upcoming wedding. It can be recalled that the two got engaged in January 2018.
In addition to that, fans will also be given an update about Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino after he turned himself in to authorities in early 2019 for tax evasion. He is said to be having the time of his life in jail, as per his co-star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. The upcoming next installment might also follow Deena Nicole Cortese and Christopher Buckner's lives as a first-time parents to their son, Christopher John "CJ" Buckner.
