Game of Thrones season 8 is shaping up to be quite an event! While it's the only season that's written outside the Song of Ice and Fire books of George RR Martin, DB Weiss and David Beinoff carefully wrote it with his supervision. That means Martin's Idea is still there, and it's evident with all the bloody chaos abound even if he doesn't know how the show will end.
During this season, we saw Winterfell preparing for war. As the last bastion before the Night King penetrates into Westeros, a small chaos erupts before things heat up by the third episode -- Sansa and Arya distrust the Dragon Queen while the King of the North confesses to be the nephew of the woman he loves. As this happens, the creatures of the Night King attack.
The pulse-pounding all-out-war third episode of Game of Thrones season 8 left has cheering, worrying, and anxious about our favorite characters. The Night King skirmish killed many favorite major and semi-important characters including the Mormonts Jorah and Lyanna and Dolorous Edd, Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.
Lord Beric had finally died after six deaths saving Arya Stark. Lastly, Theon Greyjoy, who was quite a spectacle as his life was colorful with his path of personal redemption, had one of the best death scenes in the episode.
The following episode still left us the sweet taste of victory despite the death of "The Red Woman" Melisandre in a discreet manner. However, after the jovial victories, we saw the seriousness as Dragon Queen Daenerys Targaryen faces off with evil and sociopathic queen Cersei Lannister. The meeting did not hit off well after Cersei killed Missandei, Daenery's speaker and Grey Worm's lover.
As per the words of Lord Varys in Game of Thrones season 8 episode 4, Daenerys is likely to seek vengeance by burning down the entire capital of King's Landing. We speculate that Lord Varys' attempts at subversive treason against his queen will be discovered and lead to his death.
Meanwhile, it is highly likely Jon Snow will remain alive as Daenerys -- who may hold power over him -- still respects him as her lover and living brethren. However, she may hesitate to burn the capital after seeing what it did when she burned Mereen.
On the other hand, Jamie Lannister is most likely to face certain death planning to face off with Cersei one last time this season. But, we believe he will try his best to bring the house down with him before he dies. And indeed, Daenerys' last dragon may likely die after seeing the dragon killer crossbows at work. Lastly, the survivors may not have their second chance including crowd favorite Tyrion Lannister, whose wits may not spell glory or victory for Daenerys or any of the Starks.
