Macy (played by Madeleine Mantock) will acquire a new power in the Charmed season 1 finale. She will, however, still mess this up as she's learning how to harness her new ability.
According to the episode synopsis for the Charmed season 1 finale, Macy will try to keep "creating alternate realities" because she wants to achieve a perfect and ideal scenario. However, her sisters Maggie (played by Sarah Jeffrey) and Mel (played by Melonie Diaz) are not so thrilled by what Macy can do.
Even Harry (played by Rupert Evans) is also wary of his ward's new ability. Will he be able to help Macy figure this out?
Photos from the Charmed season 1 finale, as posted on KSite TV, show the sisters working together with their magic. Despite Harry standing over to guide them, it's pretty clear that the Charmed Ones have a worried look on their faces.
Previously in Charmed season episode 21, which aired on Sunday, May 12, the Charmed Ones learned that Macy is, in fact, The Source of all magic good and bad. How she deals with this great ability will likely form a new arc for her character moving forward, but viewers will see more of this in the upcoming finale.
The Charmed season 1 finale will air on Sunday, May 19, at 9:00 p.m. on The CW. The show, however, will still be back for another run by the fall season as the network has renewed the series for season 2.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, there will be new showrunners aboard the second year with writers Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro. Production for Charmed season 2 will likely begin in the middle of the summer. It's unclear, however, if the show will finally feature the stars of the original 1990s series.
The new showrunners plan for Charmed season 2 to focus on the Charmed One's powers and the supernatural storyline. There will be little focus on the family dynamics between the sisters.
But before viewers get to watch a new season of Charmed, they can still catch up or rewatch the episodes of the first season on Netflix. According to a discussion on Reddit, Charmed will be ready and available on the streaming platform by May 27.
