Should things push through, the imminent The King: The Eternal Monarch is going to be his comeback series since he got discharge from the two-year mandatory military service. In other words, the former boyfriend of Suzy Bae is going to return to acting after serving as a public service officer since 2017.

2. Lee Min Ho will take a very challenging role in the forthcoming new show.

Spoilers have it that The King: The Eternal Monarch will thread on a parallel world concept. In other words, Lee Min Ho is going to have a dual character in his next project. The former lover of Suzy Bae is said to be portraying a role of an emperor named Lee Gon, who wants to close the door that connects the two dimension for good, in one world and a detective named Jung Tae Eul, who protects his loved ones, in the other world. The pair is, reportedly, going to go against their greatest nemesis: The Devil.

3. Lee Min Ho will start working on the new series later this year.

Reports suggested that filming for The King: The Eternal Monarch is set to kick off later this year. Besides Lee Min Ho, no other names about the series' cast have been revealed as of yet. So, fans should watch out for Min Ho's leading lady. However, despite this, Hwa&Dam Pictures stated that they are confident that Suzy Bae's ex-beau would give justice to his characters.
