Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Ko are, undeniable, among the most followed real-life couple today. As a matter of fact, the lead stars of the 2016 hit series Descendants of the Sun have been making it into the headlines despite the very fact that they have been away from the limelight for quite some time. The Song-Song couple has, also, become a favorite subject of rumored generated in the imaginations of avid fans and critics alike.
Rumors claiming that the marriage of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo is hitting rock bottom have become rife lately despite the lack of evidence to prove it. Reports claimed that the Descendants of the Sun stars are not on good terms after they were sighted wearing no wedding bands on separate occasions. This caused major fan arguments online with some claiming that the Song-Song ship has already sunk.
However, the talent agencies of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo denied these allegations and stated that fans should not worry because everything is fine between the two Hallyu superstars. Moreover, the agencies said there is no need for Joong Ki an Hye Kyo to respond to these split rumors since these are all fabricated and, totally, baseless.
Aside from the divorce reports, pregnancy rumors also hounded the Song-Song couple. Reports suggested that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo could, finally, start building their own family after the actress revealed that she is not receiving any offers until the end of the year. While Hye Kyo stated that she wanted to take a break following the success of the Encounter series, which also starred Park Bo Gum, a few believed that the actress might take this opportunity to plan for her future baby with Joong Ki.
Though it would not come as a surprise should the couple decides to have a baby, Song Joong Ki, previously, revealed that it is not their priority yet. The Arthdal Chronicles star added that he and Song Hye Kyo want to focus on their careers, especially since they have a lot of commitments to attend to. The actress, for her part, did not even give an exact date on when she and her husband are planning to have a baby since they want it to come "naturally."
True enough, a Song-Song baby might not come yet since both Song Joong Ki, and Song Hye Kyo are busy with their respective projects. Joong Ki is set to make a come back in the small screens via tVN's Arthdal Chronicles, which tackles the conversion of the City of Asadal from being an ancient civilization into an empire. Hye Kyo, on the other hand, has signed with director Wong Kar Wai's film studio and is about to do a film and work with some Chinese artists and filmmakers.
