Last week, Kendall Jenner spoke in a newly-released interview about how she could "maybe" marry her NBA player boyfriend Ben Simmons someday. Now, Page Six is reporting that the two are no longer dating from multiple sources.
Page Six was the first to report that the supermodel and the basketball player have split after not even a year of being an item. Now, multiple outlets, including E! News, have confirmed this as well.
"Ben and Kendall split recently before the Met Gala. They are still on fine terms and have been in touch," an insider shares with E! News. According to the source, Kendall’s career, which is just as busy as Ben’s, was also a factor in the split, saying that the distance between them "was getting to be a lot."
"She cares about Ben and always wants to end her relationships on good terms," the source continues. "Kendall knew she had several out of the country trips coming up and thought it would be best if they took some space. It's been hard for them with the time differences and both of their schedules but there is a chance they will get back together."
Despite this explanation, there were insider reports that claimed Ben was a bit upset and worried that Kendall spent time with Harry Styles. The exes reunited at the Met Gala and even hosted an after-party together. They were the last ones to leave the hotel where the bash took place after the sun had already come up.
A HollywoodLife source confirmed that Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles are just friends, and probably was just doing their job as hosts. There was also no confirmation if Ben Simmons was upset with the whole situation, or it was just an assumption.
The real reason behind Kendall Jenner And Ben Simmons’s split will only be confirmed by the two people involved. However, we may not know what happened to their relationship since Kendall is not one to share anything about her personal life.
The 23-year-old model has typically remained mum about her relationships and seems to enjoy keeping them out of the public eye. Kendall explained in her Vogue Australia interview that she liked to keep her relationships private after witnessing the scrutiny her siblings Kylie Jenner, Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian have come under for their love lives.
