A Million Little Things season 2 will be keeping its Thursday schedule when it returns on television the fall. ABC has confirmed that the show will retain its 9:00 p.m. slot as it has successfully gained an audience on this schedule during half of its first season.
ABC released its 2019 Fall TV line-up to the press at the recent upfronts presentation, where A Million Little Things took the center stage. It has indeed been a huge turn around for the series when it was on the brink of going off the air.
Viewers will recall that when A Million Little Things began its freshman run last September 2018, it was lagging in the ratings on its Thursday 10:00 p.m. schedule. The network decided to move the show an hour earlier during the mid-season then things quickly picked up for the series.
Meanwhile, A Million Little Things season 2 will explore a new mystery in the wake of how the first season ended. ABC top boss Karey Burke, however, refused to divulge what this will be about, as per TV Line.
The show did leave with a huge cliffhanger regarding the relationship of Katherine (played by Grace Park) and Eddie (played by David Guintoli). Will their story be the main new twist for the second season?
According to Screen Rant, Chandler Riggs will still be a part of A Million Little Things season 2. The former star of The Walking Dead, however, has been booked for two episodes only as P.J. and it's still unclear if his participation will be extended.
Reports from Global Newswire showed that A Million Little Things season 2 would be expanding its crew, who are reportedly quite excited to start filming the new installment in British Columbia. At least 1,000 technicians and professionals are part of this drama series' cast and crew.
A Million Little Things season 2 also stars Ron Livingston (as Jon), Romany Malco (as Rome), James Roday (as Gary), Allison Miller (as Maggie) and Christina Moses (as Regina). The show covers the story of a tight Boston group whose anchor committed suicide. Following his death, secrets about the friends were slowly unveiled, causing conflicts among the group. The show is created by DJ Nash.
ABC has not yet revealed the premiere date for A Million Little Things season 2. However, it will likely start in the third or fourth week of September 2019.
