Ghost Adventures season 19 episode 2 will take viewers on a thrilling investigation of the St. Ignatius Hospital. Built during 1892 in Washington, D.C., the Sisters of Providence from Montreal were the carers of this facility before it closed down for good in 2003.
Per the episode synopsis of Ghost Adventures season 19 episode 2, Zak Bagans and his crew will be looking into reports that the abandoned building has a strange presence. There have been reports from people who have attempted to check out this haunted place that they were either attacked or that they have heard some mysterious growls in the hospital's hallways. Curiously, those who experienced a strange presence could not see who or what strange being are in this place.
According to Spokesman, St. Ignatius Hospital has attracted many ghost enthusiasts, and legitimate paranormal researchers like Ghost Adventures since the site has been abandoned over 15 years ago. The crew from the Travel Channel series stayed over for three nights at the hospital to capture necessary footage for Ghost Adventures season 19 episode 2.
A tour guide named Valorie Gregory told the news outlet that thousands of people have died in this historic property. The stories relating to the hospital's patients have become urban legends among the locals.
During Halloween events, this site is quite popular among tourists from all over the world. But even the tour guides are afraid of going inside some of the rooms because they can sense an eerie presence.
"We've got lots of recordings, lots of voices and the psychic says she's very angry," Gregory said.
She was a witness to those scary voices and shadows lurking in the building. At some point, Gregory and the other tour guides also have head doors slamming at the hospital. The property is currently owned by a California investor who refused to be interviewed for Ghost Adventures season 19 episode 2.
For an abandoned building, St. Ignatius Hospital is quite big and intimidating. It has five floors and a basement, and the halls seem to go on and on because it connects to different wings.
In 1964, St. Ignatius Hospital was shut down following several decades of operation because of the emergence of competing hospitals. A few years later, however, the building was turned into an assisted living facility for senior citizens until it permanently closed in 2003.
Ghost Adventures season 19 episode 2 will air on the Travel Channel on Saturday, June 15, at 9:00 p.m. The show will have a repeat on Sunday, June 16, at midnight.
