Meghan Markle is reportedly doing yoga as her post-baby workout. A month after giving birth to son Archie Harrison, the new mom is exercising with Archie at the Windsor Great Park just a few blocks away from their home in Frogmore Cottage.
According to royal correspondent Katie Nicholl, the Duchess has been talking walks at the nearby park and does baby yoga with her son. She hasn't done weight training or anything strenuous because she isn't in a hurry to get back her pre-baby body, as per Entertainment Tonight.
Duchess Meghan used to have a rigid fitness regime before her pregnancy and was a fitness fanatic. She did regular runs at Kensington and was always in and out of the gym.
Her enthusiasm for exercises rubbed off on Prince Harry, who also does yoga with her. Her mother, Doria Ragland, who is a yoga teacher, apparently taught her to do baby yoga, and that's what she has been doing to get back in shape.
"Lots of proud walks around Windsor Great Park, so, gentle exercise, but no hard training, no weights," McNicholl said. "She's apparently not in any hurry to ping back into shape. She's enjoying this time. She's being gentle to herself."
Meghan's first public appearance after giving birth was at the Trooping the Colour celebration for the Queen's birthday. Observers appreciated her post-baby body where she looked more fuller and have gained some pregnancy weight. People remarked that the Duchess still looks gorgeous despite having a postnatal bump, per Today. She appeared to have just given birth, which made the royal look so natural and authentic.
Meanwhile, as the Duchess is taking it easy with her post-pregnancy workout, she's also not in a hurry to get back to her royal duties. Per Harper's Bazaar, the Duchess has not attended the Order of the Garter Service, the annual gala celebrating notable people in service.
According to royal experts, since the Duke of Sussex has not been named a Knight of the Garter yet then he's not expected to be present at this event. His older brother, Prince William, however, was named by the Queen as a knight presumably because he is the heir to the throne.
Since Prince Harry doesn't have the interest to be a King, this event hardly mattered. Thus, the Duchess wasn't also expected to be in the ceremony as her husband was not going to be there.
