Fisker Inc. recently released a teaser photo of what appears to be the front design of its upcoming electric SUV. Henrik Fisker, the founder of the company, have been quite busy over the past few months releasing teaser images of its upcoming SUV.

Fisker has released a handful of design concepts in the past. However, most of which are design mock-ups, and this is the first time the company released an actual photo of the SUV that looks to be in the early stages of production.

The recently released photo closely recreates the previously released design mockups. It would appear that Fisker is holding on to its design without much of an alteration of the original. The photo revealed some quite interesting details, including a couple of angles on the SUV's hood and lower bumper. The photo also reveals that car's LED light design which is installed on both the headlights and the bumper.

Aside from sharing the teaser photo, Fisker claims that what they are building is "the world's most sustainable vehicle." Fisker has previously claimed that some parts of the SUV will be manufactured using recycled materials. This particular manufacturing strategy, he added, is what will keep the price of the SUV affordable. He claims and maintains that they should be able to sell this SUV at a price point well below the $40,000 mark.

The still unnamed electric vehicle is expected to have a mileage of close to 300 miles. Should Fisker be able to pull this one off, it will be one of the first electric vehicles to reach that milestone. Mileage and battery power has always been one of the most important features of an electric vehicle. Trends have always pointed towards the electric vehicle with the most powerful battery and best mileage. Every other features appear to be just secondary.

Reports claim that the Fisker SUV will feature an 80kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This massive battery is what drives the SUV to reach the 300-mile mileage.

Aside from the SUV model, Fisker claims that the company is also working on an electric sedan that has autonomous driving capabilities. The sedan is reportedly called the Fisker Orbit.

Fisker confirmed that in terms of sales strategy, they will adopt the same practice as that of Tesla's. This means that all Fisker SUVs will be sold directly to customers, instead of relying on dealerships and third-party sellers.
