The Handmaid's Tale season 3 episode 11 will find Serena (played by Yvonne Strahovski) and Fred (played by Joseph Fiennes) on the road to a secret trip. The episode, titled "Liars," will launch on Hulu on Wednesday, July 31.

The Waterford couple is likely traveling out of Gilead to see Tuello (played by Sam Jaeger), the Representative of the U.S. Government in Exile in Canada, for help, per Heavy. Serena might finally take up on the offer that he will be there should they need his help.

While it was not explicitly shown in the earlier episodes of The Handmaid's Tale, Serena found a phone among her things with the note that stated "if you need me" during her trip to Toronto. It is believed that it was Tuello who left those things after coordinating Serena's meeting with Luke (played by O-T Fagbenle) in Canada.

Perhaps Serena was able to convince her husband to finally seek help after what happened to June in The Handmaid's Tale season 3 episode 10. Forced to do the ceremony they all loathe, they all watched in horror was June (played by Elisabeth Moss) sacrificed herself to be sexually used again so that they won't be executed.

The Gilead is watching the Waterfords and their friends, the Lawrences, with a keen eye. The powers-that-be want to make sure that they are still following through on the monthly ritual, as much as they feel it's a complete violation of June's body.

What Serena and Fred are planning in The Handmaid's Tale season 3 episode 11 is tantamount to prison. Will they get caught or will they succeed in their plans? The couple only wants to get back Nicole and gain their freedom from the Gilead.

Meanwhile, Hulu has renewed The Handmaid's Tale for the fourth season. The streaming platform announced during the Television Critics Association meet that the show will be back in 2020 for another run.

It's still unclear where The Handmaid's Tale season 4 will go since the third season's finale will still air in two weeks. The Handmaid's Tale season 3 executive producer Warren Littlefield said that the finale would be a cliffhanger.

"What you'll see between now and the end of the season is her being less obedient to authority, being more assertive," Littlefield said, per TV Guide. "She co-opts Commander Lawrence into her vision and her plan, and that's just starting to unfold, but it's a snowball rolling down a mountain. I'm excited about what we're about to present."
