Many fans are thrilled about the upcoming release of Now You See Me 3. It has been four years since Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer confirmed the imminent third installment of the 2013 American heist thriller film. However, no other official details have been revealed up to this writing.

What is sure, for now, is that Jon M. Chu would be directing the forthcoming Now You See Me 3 movie. Gavin James and Neil Widener, on the other hand, would do the screenplay. As for its cast, Lizzy Caplan, Mark Ruffalo (Dylan Rhodes), Michael Caine (Arthur Tressler), Dave Franco (Jack Wilder), Woody Harrelson (Merritt McKinney), Jesse Eisenberg (J. Daniel Atlas), and Morgan Freeman (Thaddeus Bradley) are said to be reprising their roles in the imminent second sequel.

Making the impending project more interesting is the inclusion of Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch to the cast of Now You See Me 3. Besides playing as the egocentric detective in the BBC series, the 43-year-old English actor is also known for his portrayal in Doctor Strange. Benedict was also announced to be joining David Oyelowo and Tamsin Greig in Channel 4's The Tiger Who Came To Tea.

Though fans are set to see another big star in the up-and-coming Now You See Me 3 movie, it is revealed that Henley Reeves and Elia Koteas would not be returning for another run. It can be recalled that Isla Fisher decided to leave the franchise following a hazardous stunt she performed in the first installment that almost took her life.

The imminent Now You See Me 3 movie is expected to center on the story of the Four Horsemen in another huge robbery. It is predicted that the main characters might need help from new faces, which could be Benedict Cumberbatch's character. There is also a possibility that the Sherlock star's role could be the group's newest villain - a police or an investigator.

Speaking to Variety, CEO Jon Feltheimer revealed that the upcoming Now You See Me 3 is very much likely to top the $350 million gross of its first installment. Bobby Cohen and Alex Kurtzman are said to produce the new film while Pete Chiarelli and Ed Solomon are expected to write the script.

There are reports saying that the third installment of the comedy caper would premiere later this year. Others claim it would be shown to the theatres next year. Stay tuned to Business Times for the latest Now You See Me 3 spoilers, predictions, theories, news, and updates!
