There are a lot of opportunities in the K-pop world. Idols don’t just limit their brand as they try out other things as well, especially when it has something to do with their passion, like music.

BTS may be famously known as a singing group, but some of the boys have already added record producer to their very impressive resume. One of those members is Suga.

Heize digital single “We Don’t Talk Together” quickly made headlines when it was released on July 7. Why? Because her comeback track that features Giriboy was produced by Suga.

The 27-year-old singer, rapper, songwriter, and composer then shared what it was like working with the BTS star. “It’s my first time working with Suga, but it was really great. He was really nice. Thank you, Min PD.”

“Min PD” is Suga’s nickname as a producer. Min for his last name, and PD as producing director.

Heize won first place with “We Don’t Talk Together” on SBS’s “Inkigayo.” Ben’s “Thank You for Goodbye” took the second place, and Melomance’s “You & I” was third place. Despite nabbing the top spot, Heize didn’t make an appearance on the program. She was then asked about it.

“I usually don’t pay much attention to [music] rankings,” she explained. “I thought that it’s hard to get good results on the [music] charts these days, and my company said that we shouldn’t get too greedy either, so I was content. [The song] ended up doing really well though, so I’m so thankful.”

Fans then praised both Heize and Suga for the success of the song. “I hope Suga releases more of his own produced songs. His smile and happiness are on a different level when he talks about making music,” one wrote. “Great song! Love her voice n love even more with Min PD’s work!” Another one commented.

Also, some people hoped that Heize and Suga would collaborate, not just singer and record producer collaboration, but some kind of a duet of some sort. “Heize and Suga would be an AMAZING collab,” the fan suggested.
