Teresa has gone mad and ruthless in Queen of the South season 4 episode 12. In the penultimate episode titled "Diosa de la Guerra," there is no doubt that she will be gunning for her enemies in an all-out war to survive.
In the teaser to Queen of the South season 4 episode 12, Teresa (played by Alice Braga) is seen instructing her team to wait for nightfall before their attack. The Goddess of War has come prepared as she hatches the plan to kill them all.
Her vengeance is quite personal. After all, she almost lost her life when she stood too close to the explosion to take out Tony (played by Adolfo Alvarez), who died in an instant in Queen of the South season 4 episode 11. Teresa had to be rushed to the hospital as she was knocked unconscious and became unstable.
Pote (played by Hemky Madera) had a lingering suspicion on who was behind the attack. So, while Teresa was in a coma in Queen of the South season 4 episode 11, Pote took charge of her business, as well as finding the people who attacked them.
To help him go after El Gordo's men, whom he believes planned the bombing, Pote had to seek the help of the associates loyal to Teresa. But who would those be?
One of these was Dumas (played by Alimi Ballard) who had personal issues with the rest of Teresa's associates. He put it in Pote's head that Boaz (played by Frank Miranda) appeared to be too comfortable setting up shop in Teresa's turf in Queen of the South season 4 episode 11. Short of suggesting to get rid of Boaz, Pote discussed this with Javier (played by Carlos Gomez) who said that his cousin is not foolish.
After some more probing, Pote learned that it was El Gordo's nephew, Elias (played By Christopher Marquez), who did the offense as he wanted Teresa to have problems with her deal with Oksana (Vera Cherny). Boaz also reiterated that he wasn't planning to move into Teresa's business and that he was fine being one of her soldiers.
Meanwhile, with one more episode to air before the finale Queen of the South season 4's renewal chances remain on the bubble. Numbers from TV Series Finale show that the current run averages less than a million viewers per week, which has been a notch down compared to season 3.
