Actress Hye Sun Goo announced that she will take a break from the entertainment industry and return to University. The actress faced a crisis of potential divorce after her disharmony with Jae Hyun Ahn was spoken. She is going through a turning point in her life.
Goo’s legal representative stated in the Star News, “Hye Sun Goo will temporarily suspend all her entertainment activities when she finishes her essay book I’m Your Companion Animal.”
According to those close to her, she is preparing to return to SungKyun Kwan University where she used to take classes in the past. Since 2011 of her enrollment to Art and Media Bachelor degree, she has not finished her study.
Goo is going to publish her essay book, “I’m Your Companion Animal”, this coming October. This will become the last period of her activities.
Her message on Instagram wrote, “Hello, this is Hye Sun Goo. Before publishing my essay book ‘I’m Your Companion Animal', I wish to give you my last greetings. I would like to sincerely thank you all for giving me all of the attention and love you did. Because of you all, I was able to achieve my dreams. Please stay healthy and happy in the future. I love you.” She implied a temporary retirement from her entertainment activities in this message.
In her writing, Goo reflected her heart, “I don’t know what love is and I do not trust it. However, the only one that I can dare say I loved and I love and I will love is my companion animal. I also promise that I will be your companion animal to you. I promise that I will be with you until the end of the world. Though you may not be with me until the end, I promise I will care for you with my two feet when you have returned to the dust. I promise that this love will last forever.”
Goo’s confession on her marital trouble with Ahn was made on August 18 through her Instagram. Her honest message brought surprise to many and drew media attention.
Goo and Ahn began their romantic relationship in 2015 when they both played in KBS 2TV Drama ‘Blood’ and concluded it as marriage. Their happy marriage life was shown publicly through Reality TV program ‘Diary of New Marriage’. Young people were envious to see their sweet love vividly through the show. However, Goo’s public argument with Ahn after the disclosal of her troubled marriage turned over their envy to disappointment.
In spite of displeasing controversy with Ahn, Goo reaped a prize in the 11th Seoul International Short Movie Convention through her movie “Mystery Pink” where she played as an actress. Mystery Pink is autobiographical for her life. Hyun Jin Seo and Dong Geun Yang played the lead roles.
Goo also announced her plan to donate the earnings from her Jin San gallery art exhibition, which amounts to approximately $16,490 to an animal charity. The actress also shared her recent life stories and expressed gratitude over her bestselling book, Tears are Shaped like Hearts. She also mentioned that she was hopitalized for her Polyp Removal Surgery.
