The actress Hye Sun Goo’s legal representative, Jung Kyeong Seok, released a statement in regards to Goo’s future activities.
“It is unavoidable for her to take a temporary break from the entertainment work as the notice of exclusive contract cancellation was issued to her management company,” said Seok. He added, “She will take this time to rest and return to her school. She will further consider the time of resuming the entertainment activities as she studies.”
In regards to possible divorce with Ahn, the lawyer said, “Goo still wishes to stay married with him.”
Goo has left a message in her Instagram that she will retire from the entertainment world last night.
“Before the publication of my essay book, ‘I’m Your Companion Animal’, I would like to share last greetings to you all,” wrote she. She added, “I appreciate your much attention and love you have given to me. Because of all this, I could achieve my dream. Please stay healthy and happy. I love you all.”
Goo entered Seoul Art University to study Broadcasting and Entertainment in 2003 and dropped out. Afterwards, she entered Sung Kyun Kwan University to study in Visual Studies in Art Department in 2011. However, she has not finished the degree. She is planning to focus on studies while she is taking a temporary break from her entertainment activities. She will also continue her art work as an artist, novelist, and assay writer.
After her speaking up of the dispute with her husband, Goo is in controversy over a potential divorce with Ahn.
