Amidst BTS's Jungkook is in the rumor of having an affair, both his agency and a female tattooist A, have denied it.
The beginning of a rumor was an article posted on an online community with a title, "A Friend Who Hasn't Recognized BTS Jungkook and Kicked Him Out." The article also said, "My friend is running a shop in Geoje Island and he sent out the singer saying he did not have ID." In the picture shown in the CCTV capture screen, a man and a woman are playing back hugs. It was speculated that this man was Jungkook.
Another netizen released a photo of a man and a woman sitting side by side at a drinking table. Some commented that Jungkook put 'couple tattoos' on the back of his hands with his girlfriend.
As speculation grew and controversy escalated, sparks blew on rapper Hash Swan. Some netizens raised the suspicion that the male in the photo is not Jungkook but Hash Swan. Hash Swan wrote via his SNS that it wasn't himself, and he had an argument with some netizens.
As the rumor kept spreading, Jungkook's label Big Hit Entertainment finally made a statement and dismissed the rumor as absolutely untrue. The company warned a court response.
Big Hit statement wrote, "Currently, it is clear that the rumors related to Jungkook distributed by SNS and online community are not true." It continued, "During his visit to Geojedo, he realized his circle of tattooist acquaintances was also visiting there so he hung out with them. He ate with them and went to karaoke as a group. Those contents were distorted and became known."

The company added, "We are sorry that his private life during his extended break had to be distorted like this," "We are currently investigating whether or not the picture was taken illegally, and will take strict legal action accordingly. I'm absolutely not in a relationship with Jungkook. I'm posting this because of what's spreading online and the unfortunate situation of people causing misunderstandings by impersonating me. I didn't say anything because it seemed obvious that people wouldn't believe me or they would interpret what I say the way they want or I would get even harsher responses.
Again, it is not true that I have a relationship with Jungkook or I had tattooed my initials on his body.
We are simply close friends and I am very apologetic, as it seems fans were extremely hurt in addition to myself and people around me. I will not respond further. I'd just like to make it clear that I am not ignoring or disregarding your questions.
