The group Dal Shabet member Serri (Real Na, Park Mi-yeon) confessed that She had been offered sponsorship and drugs.

Dal Shabet Serri explained about the sponsors and drugs in the entertainment industry on August 30th via a video titled 'The Dark World Behind Celebrities Released by a Girl Group.'

Serri said, "There are labels that encourage entertainers to have sponsors." "There are companies that label's representatives strongly recommend. Or entertainers receive direct offers from potential sponsors."

She said she did receive offers from sponsors through her Instagram direct messages. She explained, "Everyone gets DMs like that. It's up to the person to either ignore it or get offended and do something about it. Sponsors usually say that how much he earns and how much he can give. Sometimes they send a list of other conditions."

She stated that some sponsors will threaten girls who reject their offers, saying that they would not be able to debut or work. Serri added, "Not that these artists and trainees couldn't survive without sponsorship money, but for their dreams and goals to be threatened I think is terrible."

Serri confessed that one idol group member had urged her for drugs. She also referred to a drug case in the entertainment industry.

Serri said, "Now I can talk about it. One idol group member brought a medicine box that had pills looking like vitamins inside. He said, 'I feel good when I eat this. Do you want to take it?'  He casually recommended pills to other people as if they are vitamins. It was not a serious situation at all. I didn't eat because I don't eat what others give. "

"Afterwards, there was an article about the drugs of that member of the group. I was so surprised. "" I want to hit him when I meet him now. I want to know why he tried to give me drugs. That person was taken to jail," said the singer.

Finally, Serri said, "This kind of incident related to sponsors or drugs happens rarely in the entertainment industry. Since the celebrity is a public figure, the focus is more on that." "There are very few people who are involved in those dark things. Most entertainers including me work hard and I wish you support us fully," said Serri.
