Goo Hye Sun decided not to join her new book's publishing event. She has been recently in a heated controversy with her husband Ahn Jae Hyun due to their divorce battle.
On September 18th, a publication staff of the company that will release Goo's new essay book, 'I'm Your Companion Animal' said on the Sports Today, "We are currently discussing whether Goo will join the publication event. We were planning to hold a publication event in the beginning of October when her essay book is published. However, it seems it is hard to host such an event in consideration of a recent trouble. No specific offline event has been confirmed so far."
The source added, "We are in contact with Goo as well as her agency HB Entertainment to discuss whether or not she would attend the event."
Goo Hye-Sun was brought to the center of the controversy by exposing the crisis of her marriage with Ahn Jae Hyun via her Instagram. She is still continuing her argument at the moment.
On the other hand, she has been active as a writer publishing her recent novel "Tears are Heart-shaped."
Goo is going to return to the university where she is taking a leave of absence, and she said she will take a break from the entertainment activities after her essay book, 'I'm Your Companion Animal' is published.
