It looks like the Paris storyline in God Friended Me season 2 will conclude in the third episode. It will bring Miles (played by Brandon Micheal Hall) to the City of Love and Romance to follow Cara (played by Violett Beane) who flew to France in last season's finale.
According to the episode synopsis of God Friended Me season 2 episode 3, Miles and Cara will work together to trace some clues about the God account. Beane confirmed, in an interview with CBS New York, that the Paris storyline, which will open the new season, will be a three-episode arc.
"Cara goes on [this arc] where she discovers more about herself, her relationship, and who she wants to be," the actress said. "While that is going on, Miles is also going through a sort of change of story. The two actually find that their stories are interwoven in a way they weren't expecting."
Is it possible that Miles and Cara will also find some answers not just about the God account but also the status of their relationship while in Paris? Does this mean that, when this story arc is done, the two will be back in New York with a solid idea of where they should be as a couple in God Friended Me season 2?
Beane also said, while she visited Paris before, it was still pretty cool to come back and work in the beautiful city. She shared they had a scene at 6:00 a.m. at the Louvre, and they also filmed with the famous Eiffel Tower and the Seine River in the background.
Meanwhile, God Friended Me season 2 will bring in a French woman named Audrey Grenelle, who becomes tied to the God account. Karine Vanasse will play the recurring character, according to Deadline. Apparently, through Audrey, Miles will discover things about the mysterious social media account that changes all of his previous conceptions. Is this what Beane may have been hinting about the change of story in Miles' point of view?
