EXO members Baekhyun, Chanyeol, and Suho, are not pleased with their fans' behavior at the airport. The K-pop group had, recently, returned to South Korea after their two-night EXO PLANET #5 - EXplOration concert in Taiwan when the ruckus at the airport occurred.
The three members of EXO took to their social media accounts to express their safety concerns not only for themselves but to the fans and other passengers as well. Baekhyun noted that EXO-Ls would be "prettier" if they also behave appropriately in public places. He also expressed concern that their presence at the airport could cause harm to others.
Chanyeol, on the other hand, noted the lack of order at the airport, to the point that it becomes dangerous to everyone. He hopes not to experience the same reckless behavior again that could cause harm to them and others.
As for the EXO leader, Suho shared on his Instagram story a similar message to Chanyeol. He reiterated that the recent incident at the airport is a safety risk not just on the members but to the other people who also use the airport. He asked for their fans' cooperation in maintaining order whenever they are in a public place.
Meanwhile, many EXO-Ls have shown their support to Baekhyun, Chanyeol, and Suho. Others praised the idols for not being afraid to voice out their opinions, especially when they think their fans did something wrong. Some also called out SM Entertainment to provide adequate protection for the group. EXO's label has yet to release a statement about the matter.
Being mobbed by fans at the airport is something that many K-pop idols have to endure when traveling in and out of the country. A year ago, Chanyeol also called out fans for misbehaving at the airport. At the time, the K-pop idol was at the airfield to travel to China to attend a Tommy Hilfiger fashion show.
A group of people mobbed him, and his slipper got torn when it was stepped on during the commotion. Chanyeol, immediately, expressed on Instagram his concern and also included a photo of ripped slipper in his post.
EXO is currently on its EXO PLANET #5 - EXplOration tour. The group will be leaving the country, again, anytime soon for the Japan leg of the tour. EXO will be performing in Fukuoka, Osaka, and Yokohama this month before heading to Indonesia on November 23. The group will end the tour this year in Miyagi, Japan in December.
