Miley Cyrus, 26, and Liam Hemsworth, 29, have been in an on-again, off-again kind of relationship. The two have sparked romance rumors after they starred in the 2010 film titled The Last Song, which is based on the novel of Nicholas Sparks with the same title. With their effective portrayal as Ronnie and Will, fans could not help but ship for them until they became a real-life couple.

However, Miley and Liam have decided to end their fairytale only eight months after they tied the knot in a secret ceremony over the festive season last year. What's more shocking is the fact that The Hunger Games actor was the one who initiated the divorce.

Shortly after the split announcement, Miley Cyrus was spotted kissing Kaitlynn Carter, 31. Photos of the Disney alum and the ex-wife of Brody Jenner, 36, vacationing together in Lake Como, Italy, surfaced online. It sparked reports that the Hannah Montana actress and Kaitlynn are a couple already. However, their romance was short-lived as they, allegedly, broke up just a few weeks after they were first seen together.

Though neither Miley nor Kaitlynn has confirmed the split reports, the "Wrecking Ball" singer allegedly hinted that the breakup could be true. On Wednesday, the former ladylove of Liam Hemsworth shared a photo of her alongside a zombie-looking character on Instagram. What made the post intriguing is the fact that Miley wrote about having met a "new potential partner" in the caption. This, according to speculations, could be a confirmation of her split from Kaitlynn.

Meanwhile, recent reports claimed that Miley Cyrus is trying to convince Liam Hemsworth to reconcile and give their marriage another try. NW reported that the So Undercover actress has realized the mistakes she committed in the past. The former girlfriend of Nick Jonas is, allegedly, "desperate" to get back together with her now-ex-husband.

An unnamed source told the entertainment news outlet that Miley has been constantly sending text messages to Liam with pleas to resolve whatever issue they had that led to divorce. Another informant said that the family of Aussie actor is anxious about the situation, especially Liam's older brother, Chris Hemsworth.

"Chris knows how easily Liam gets sucked back in with Miley," the anonymous tipster, allegedly, told NW. "It's frustrating to everyone that Miley can't just let him heal. If she thinks she made a mistake, too bad! Nobody wants to hear about it," it added.

While these claims could be true, Gossip Cop made it clear that nothing about the NW report is correct. The fact-checking publication stated that Miley Cyrus has not been texting Liam Hemsworth, begging him to come back and reunite with her.

GC even reached out to an insider close to Miley and found out that the "Best of Both Worlds" singer is "doing great" even after the two splits from Liam and Kaitlynn. The publication emphasized that Miley Cyrus has not begged Liam Hemsworth to reconcile.
