Big Hit Entertainment (Big Hit) has sued the person who leaked CCTV data of Jungkook.
The leaked footage sparked the rumor of BTS member Jungkook having an affair.
According to the confirmation of YTN Star on October 14th, Big Hit has sued the related person of the Karaoke located in the Geoje Island with charges of violating personal information law and defamation. It was informed that the tattooist who was also in the video together with Jungkook is going to file a suit.
Jungkook visited Geoje Island during his vacation on September 17th and met with tattoo shop staff, including his acquaintance. During this time, Jungkook was unveiled in the online community with a CCTV certified shot that seemed to be giving bag hug for the tattooist.
Big Hit said, "Jungkook is deeply saddened that these small events that happened during his long vacation have become distorted. We will be sure to press charges for the leakage of footage and illegal filming."
The tattooist also said, "I am not in a relationship with Jungkook. We are just good friends and I am sorry for all the pain and trouble I have caused to the people around me and to all the fans."
Jungkook came back from his vacation. He has returned to Korea after his group's concert in Saudi Arabia, "LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF", was successfully held at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
