BTS Suga is one of the most talented producers in the Korean music industry, and a recent poll indicated that fans are completely aware of his talents.
BTS Suga, recently, topped a survey conducted by Idol Chart seeking fans' opinions on who the best self-producing idol should be. Suga dominated the survey by getting almost 50 percent of the total votes cast on the poll, All Kpop reported.
With 9,282 votes out of a total of 20,355 that were cast, BTS Suga took the victory as the Best Self-Producing Idol. It was a pretty close competition between Suga and AB6IX's Lee Dae Hwi, who landed in second place with 8,889 votes. NU'EST's Baekho took third place with 1,132 votes.
BTS' J-Hope, who recently produced the hit dance track Chicken Noodle Soup, placed fourth in the survey. The fifth to 10th positions were rounded out by Seventeen's Woozi, Pentagon's Hui, Stray Kids' Bangchan, MONSTA X's Jooheon, and (G)I-DLE's Soyeon.
Suga's reputation as a top self-producing idol is well deserved based on his track record. Apart from producing and releasing his MixTape on SoundCloud in 2016, he also worked on countless hits with other talented artists like Tablo, Lee So Ra, and Suran for his solo activities. Suga is also actively involved in composing and producing BTS songs with his members.
Suga also has more than 70 songs registered under his name by the Korea Music Copyright Association, and his works have often been celebrated as a truthful reflection on the experiences of the youth, especially on the topics of depression and social phobia.
Over the weekend, Suga won the hearts of fans in the Middle East as BTS brought their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The rap line of BTS, including RM, J-Hope, and Suga, impressed the audience with their performance of Outro: Tear. The rap line was praised for its impactful delivery of the lyrics and beats that got the crowd pumped for the entire concert.
Suga also charmed the audience with his solo performance of his song Seesaw, where he ruled the stage with his perfect rap delivery and understated dance moves.
BTS' visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia could be considered a huge success for the group, but ARMYs have been abuzz on social media because of Suga and RM's twinning shirts. Fans have noticed that the rappers have been sporting similar shirts on many occasions, which prompted them to ask the question on whether they were sharing or twinning. Not one to let the fans down, Suga clarified that he and RM did not buy the shirts together, and they were not deliberately dressing alike, Koreaboo reported.
