A portrait created by a fan has Prince Harry and Prince William reuniting with their late mother, Princess Diana. The special drawing featured the princes barely in their teens, which were their ages when they lost their mother to a tragic accident in Paris.
The portrait, shared on Instagram, captured to image and likeness of the People's Princess to near perfection. Prince William and Prince Harry's drawings, on the other hand, looked far more different than how the young royals looked at age 15 and 12, respectively.
The fan-drawn tribute to Princess Diana and her boys also included a drawing of roses with an envelope that had the words "Mummy" written on it. This was the letter Prince William and Prince Harry wrote and was placed above their mom's coffin in the carriage when her body was brought to the cemetery for burial.
Over 2.5 billion people around the world watched as Princess Diana's final hours was televised from London. Viewers sympathized with the brothers as this was a monumental loss in their loves given how much they loved their mom.
The portrait comes at a time when Prince Harry finally addressed rumors that he and his brother are feuding. In an interview for the documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, Prince Harry said that he's on a different path as Prince William at the moment; hence, people don't see them often together anymore.
The Duke of Sussex further said that inevitable stuff happens in a family, which neither confirmed nor denied the stories that he and the Duke of Cambridge have grown apart. He simply reiterated that, like any other family, they have good days and bad days.
Prince Harry acknowledged that they don't see each other as much, but he still loves his brother dearly. He said, however, that he knows Prince William will "always be there for me" in as much as he will be there for him.
Last year, rumors surfaced that Prince Harry accused Prince William of not supporting his decision to marry former American TV actress Meghan Markle. The rift, allegedly, saw the Duke and Duchess of Sussex separating from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in terms of their home and work arrangements with their royal foundation.
Prince Harry also admitted that his struggles with mental health issues, after having lost his mom at a young age, is constant management, especially with the media scrutiny over their private lives with his wife. The Duke of Sussex said he would not be bullied by the press, whom he also blamed for causing his mother's death.
