Korean singer IU has some bad news for her fans. They have to wait a little longer for the release of her new album, Love Poem.

IU announced that there is a delay on the supposed release date of her new album, Love Poem. This means her fans could not get their hands on the new album on November 1.

IU took to her official fan cafe site to announce and apologize for the delay in the release of Love Poem. The Hotel del Luna star explained that, as a singer and producer of the album, she is struggling in keeping up with all the tasks that she needs to finish.

The 26-year-old singer-actress and her team are having a hard time deciding on the overall message and the setlist for her upcoming concert. IU is not only heavily involved in producing her new album but in the planning of her upcoming concert tour as well.

The album was, originally, set to drop on November 1 while her Love Poem concert tour is set to kick off in Seoul on November 2. IU has yet to announce a new release date for the album. Despite the delay, IU vowed that fans would not wait long for Love Poem, and they will never disappoint on the performances that she prepared for them on her concert tour.

Love Poem will be IU's first release since her hit single "Bbibbi" in October 2018. The song achieved a perfect all-kill record in South Korea and also landed at No. 87 on Billboard magazine's list of "Best Songs of 2018."

IU is one of the biggest names in South Korea's entertainment industry. She debut in 2008. Throughout her more than a decade of career in singing, music producing, and acting, IU's name has been recognized across all fields in the industry.

She starred in several hit K-dramas, write and produce award-winning songs, and has successfully released four studio albums, nine EPs, and several singles. However, along with fame, IU also gained detractors.

The singer has been dealing with malicious commenters for years and has filed numerous cases against them too. IU is one of the K-pop idols who has been known to show no mercy against cyberbullies. She never agrees to negotiate or settle with those she took to court because of malicious comments that they posted online about her.

Just recently, IU's agency Kakao M announced that they had taken legal action against malicious commenters. The company said they filed criminal lawsuits against individuals who posted libelous and personal attacks on IU.
