It's been a month since BTS Jungkook has been rumored to be dating a female tattoo artist and Big Entertainment denied such speculation. Now, it was revealed that the woman who got linked to the K-pop idol is still suffering from the harsh backlash of fans.

According to AllKpop, the tattoo artist that has been rumored to be dating Jungkook is still being harassed and receiving hate comments from fans. An insider close to the tattoo artist revealed to the publication that "A" is still extremely stressed over the allegation.

"'A' is extremely stressed. I think it's amazing she didn't take her own life. They're totally draining her and cursing at her over things that haven't even been confirmed," the source said.

Back in August, BTS's agency Big Hit Entertainment announced that the Billboard Music Awards-winning group will be taking an extended hiatus and asked fans to respect the members' privacy while they are on vacation. Unfortunately, not all fans obeyed the plea.

Some snap photos of the septet during their private time and one of which made it to the headlines. Jungkook was photographed looking cozy with a female friend. The two were also later photographed at another location. This sparked dating rumors.

Fans of the K-pop idol went into frenzy when the photos were shared online. Some ARMY went overboard and theorized that Jungkook's tattoos of letters J and M are the initials of his alleged girlfriend.

Big Entertainment quickly put an end to the speculations. In a statement, the agency said when Jungkook went to Geojedo during BTS's short hiatus, he realized that some of his tattooist friends are also visiting the area. The BTS's maknae then decided to hang out with his friends.

As Big Hit denied the rumor, it also threatened to take legal action against those who invaded Jungkook's privacy. Some members of the BTS fandom also stepped in to defend Jungkook and berated fellow ARMYs who are spreading false information about the "Euphoria" singer.

The tattoo artist in the photo also shut down the dating rumors. She also spoke about the harassment that she has been receiving since the speculations hit the headlines.

Despite the efforts from Big Hit and BTS's fans themselves, the harassment on the tattoo artist continued. The insider told AllKpop that it is just right to not to label these people as malicious commenters but as criminals instead. The source also expressed hope that authorities will pass tighter measures to fight cyberbullies such as the proposed usage of only the real name on online activities.
