Prince Harry made headlines when he, allegedly, admitted the rift between him and his brother, Prince William. Although it reportedly has something to do with the Duke of Cambridge's lack of support to his sibling's relationship with Meghan Markle, it may be because of Princess Diana's advice to his firstborn before she died.

Daily Mail editor Richard Kay revealed that, before Princess Diana died, she talked to Prince William about the kind of woman he would marry. "She told him that the most important thing was that they should be best friends," he said.

Princess Diana knew Prince William got it. So, there are talks among the Princess of Wales' circle that Kate Middleton's husband is only concern about Prince Harry marrying Meghan too early. The alleged lack of support might be because of the maternal advice he received about being friends with their partner before they decide to tie the knot.

The People's Princess' advice might be from her personal experience. The publication noted that Princess Diana felt that she and Prince Charles barely knew each other when they got married. Hence, if they had been friends for a long while, they might not end up divorced.

For this, Prince William, reportedly, advised Prince Harry to slow down with his relationship with Meghan. He might only be doing what an older brother had to do, giving the Duke of Sussex a little advice before he decided to get married in 2018.

The rumors about the rift between the royal siblings have been spreading like wildfire since last year. To add fuel to the fire, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to move from Kensington Palace to create their separate household only made the matters worse.

On the ITV documentary, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, Prince Harry addressed the longstanding issue about him and Prince William, Business Times recently reported. "Inevitably stuff happens," he said.

Prince Harry also admitted that there are on "different paths" at the moment. However, they would always be brothers. He promised to always be there for his sibling, and he knew Prince William would also always be there for him. Although they don't see each other as much as they used to due to their schedules, he loves him dearly.
