Drake celebrated his birthday party with some of his friends in Los Angeles. While the Canadian rapper's actual birthday is just arriving later this week, it seems that he already got his present as his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, joined the celebration.
This came as a surprise to the fans of the artists. As it happened, the Fenty make-up owner just revealed last year that she and Drake are "not friends." She emphasized, though, that they are "not enemies" either. "It is what it is," she concluded.
According to E! sources, who seemingly saw the celebration, Rihanna arrived at the Poppy nightclub in Los Angeles, where Drake and the rest of his crew were for a fun birthday celebration and a night out. It was also revealed that the We Found Love singer stayed for hours at the party, where she was seen enjoying her time along with two of her girlfriends.
The sources further contended that, upon arrival, Rihanna and her friends were immediately escorted by Drake's security to his table. He looked very "excited to see her," the source added.
The former couple was also seen talking to each other and smiling for hours. It was "pleasant" and it looked like they were having fun. Accordingly, this only went to show that Rihanna and Drake are now back to being friends.
Some fans have remained positive that they will be back together as a couple. In fact, seeing them together sparked a few rumors. However, it was pointed out that Rihanna is still and has been committed to her two-year relationship with Hassan Jameel. So, it seemed like they are just friends who just enjoyed the company of each other during the other one's birthday party celebration.
Cosmopolitan also reported about Rihanna and Drake's reunion at the party. As per the publication, everyone was in a good mood during the celebration.
The vibe inside the nightclub was "chill" as hip-hop tracks were played by Dj Premier and Balthazar Getty. McDonald's chicken nuggets, burgers, and fries were also ordered for snacks and meals during the celebration.

With all of these things at hand, it seemingly appears that Drake's birthday celebration went well, as well as his friendship with Rihanna.
