Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are about to tie the knot. Although the two have yet to announce when the much-awaited wedding will be held, supposed details about the nuptial now emerged. Allegedly, J.Lo is looking for somebody else to pay the whole event for them.
A tabloid created a made-up story about Lopez and Rodriguez's upcoming wedding. It said that the reason why the couple has yet to choose a date for their nuptials is that the singer wanted someone else to pay for it. She even wanted to milk the event for all its worth in the media.
An alleged source claimed that Lopez is looking for a deal that would work for her, so the wedding could proceed. "There is no way she's paying for that wedding, and even less chance of her wasting one of the biggest press days of her life without harnessing it to help her business," the insider said.
As everything she endorses is now part of the much bigger J.Lo brand, her personal life will be no exception. By the looks of it, the magazine contended that she cares more about her career than her wedding that she wants someone else to fund it.
There are also claims that Lopez and Rodriguez are planning for a $3 million "Wedding of the Year." A different source asserted that their nuptials would be "an event like no other." Allegedly, there would be music, dancing, extravagant floral arrangements, and a lot of celebrity guests. The insider even revealed that there would be 500 people at the event, including George and Amal Clooney, Pitbull, Leah Remini, and Britney Spears.
However, Gossip Cop noted that both the publication and the source didn't mention who would pay for the wedding or what she even endorses. It didn't make clear if someone would sponsor the event. It didn't also give any solid evidence to prove its claims.
Jennifer Lopez's earlier statement even debunked these rumors, opposing every claim. The Hustlers star, previously, said that everybody wanted someone to grow old with because, at the end of the day, the work they did and the money they earned would never really matter.
A source close to Lopez and Rodriguez even described the unconfirmed reports as "total fiction" and "ridiculous." Also, despite being engaged, the couple is not yet planning for their wedding. In an interview with 103.4 KTU in April, the "On the Floor" hitmaker admitted that they have yet to prepare for their marriage due to their busy schedules, and it might never start until 2020.
