Earlier this month, Prince Harry's polo player friend revealed the sacrifices Meghan Markle did to marry the Duke of Sussex. Now, a royal fan asked if the former actress was a victim for giving up everything to be with the love of her life.
A lot of people believed Meghan made a lot of sacrifices to be with Prince Harry. Hence, in the online forum site Quora, a fan asked if the former Suits star was a victim of her own decision.
One royal fan cleared Meghan didn't give up everything, although she did let go of some important things for her. However, Eileen Wood claimed it would be for her greater good, knowing she would be a part of the royal family and would be able to promote her charitable works as a duchess.
Also, Wood stressed Meghan is not a victim because she's too strong a person to be like that. But, she seemed victimized with all the hatred and lies thrown against her. As a member of the royal family, the mother-of-one was unable to respond to any of it. However, when the media crossed the line, the Sussexes are now doing something about it.
Another fan deemed Meghan never sacrificed anything to marry Prince Harry. Catherine Branston believed the Duchess of Sussex perfectly knew what she wanted and made sure she would achieve it.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry's polo player friend, Nacho Figueras, claimed Meghan gave up everything to be with her now-husband. In an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he praised the royal couple for their incredible romance.
Figueras revealed that he had been friends with Prince Harry for 12 or 13 years and he saw everything that happened to him from the very beginning, per Express. He even said that his royal friend is a wonderful man who is committed and wanted to make the world a better place.
"Then he found Meghan, who is an incredible girl, she's amazing," Figueras said. "She gave up all of the things that she had to marry this man that she loves, which is great."
He went on to say that people deemed it was easy for Meghan Markle to be with Prince Harry, but nobody knew all the hard things that came with marrying a royal family member. To recall, Meghan left her American life to be with her spouse.
She moved to the U.K. ahead of their May 2018 wedding. She also deactivated all her personal social media accounts and blog as it wasn't allowed in the royal family. Meghan Markle even adopted their neutral stance regarding political issues.
Unfortunately, Figueras added that the media and even some people never saw all the efforts Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did to make the world a better place. He also called them heroes and should be treated as one, instead of being maliciously attacked.
