George Clooney and Amal Clooney, recently, celebrated their fifth anniversary. Despite the couple's sweetness and strong bond, rumors about their impending divorce are still rampant. Time and over again, there are reports about their alleged split. So, is there any truth about it?

Gossip Cop debunked a number of made-up stories about George and Amal's alleged split. In June, a tabloid claimed that the 58-year-old actor left his wife and brought their twins, Alexander and Ella Clooney, to a safe place because her political work, allegedly, put them in danger of terrorist threats.

The magazine contended that George was "livid" to Amal for putting them at risk through her humanitarian works. Allegedly, their kids were in hiding in Sardinia, while the 41-year-old barrister was working on a case against ISIS. With the "stress and tension" of the couple's situation, it was allegedly also destroying their marriage.

Another malicious rumor was written in February. It claimed that George was already ending his marriage to Amal and they were in a $500-million divorce and custody battle. The report also alleged that the two were always fighting due to their alleged "clashing personalities." As a result, the ER star told his wife that their "relationship was over."

Lastly, in October 2018, another offensive content was made about George and Amal. It alleged that the Ocean's Eleven star tried to divorce the international law expert when she was pregnant with their third child.

It asserted that George couldn't stand Amal's "demanding behavior" and was tired of being "beaten down by her intellect and superior way of speaking." It also maintained that he consulted lawyers in private to make sure that she would never try to walk away with his fortune and their kids' custody.

Gossip Cop answered all these issues and cleared one-by-one that there was no truth about the malicious allegations. The alleged threat about their safety was only concocted from George's statement to The Hollywood Reporter about their family dealing with "real security issues" because of Amal's case against ISIS.

However, they never hid, and he didn't blame his wife about the danger they were facing. George, too, fully supports Amal's career as a political activist.

George also never tried to end his marriage with Amal. After the phony article was published, the two were even spotted on a romantic date at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood. There is no truth that they have "clashing personalities," too, just because they are working in different fields.

George and Amal also cleared several times that they were not having their third child. The human rights lawyer was never pregnant. The filmmaker himself was never even beaten down by his wife.

A divorce also never happened. Instead, they celebrated their fifth anniversary in September at 4 Charles Prime Rib restaurant in New York City together with their longtime friends, Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford.
