Prince Harry is known to have a very fun character. This has been quite evident throughout the years, especially when his relationship with Meghan Markle started.
However, many sources have noticed that something has changed after the wedding in 2018. It seems that he is no longer the same person that he used to be.
In a scoop made by Express UK, Prince Harry's former army comrade revealed that the young prince was very different back then during their service in Afghanistan. He was a "bag of fun," as described by the fellow officer.
He had a great sense of humor. Although quite apparent, his greater jokes were more focused on "football and rugby," the source added.
But, upon meeting him again this year, he claimed that the royal appeared to be "unhappy." It seemed that there was a "dramatic change" in his character.
The source continued to share that Prince Harry is now more "quiet and reserved" and not the "bubbly" one that he once knew during their time.
He further described the prince's life and character in the army, which became a huge comparison to his character today. According to his statements, it looked like that the Duke of Sussex was very spontaneous.
He found a motorbike once, then, he simply jumped on it and started to drive. He also once started an "ad hoc" hockey game out of nowhere. Also, he was always happy to brew tea for everyone.
Prince Harry's fellow officer then concluded that the "army was his home," though he claimed that it might be an overstatement. Even so, he continued that it feels like he is now "lost" and "detached."
One possible reason behind this is that it all probably happened after he got married. As added by the former army officer, people change when they get married. With Prince Harry now being "defensive" and protective, it somehow shows that he's feeling "anxious" over the pressures that Meghan Markle feels in her new life as a royal.
It is worth noting, though, that Prince Harry is now the newly-appointed Captain-General of the Royal Marine. So, this might change things for him and even find his way back to his former self, the source stated.
