Despite the perks that come with being a royal, Meghan Markle revealed, in an interview, that she's struggling with the intrusion and scrutiny from the media. Her rough journey as an aristocrat is just beginning and fans think her struggles are nothing compared to what Princess Diana and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, went through.

According to one participant in Quora, Princess Diana had a hard life as a royal since she was also in a loveless marriage. Though she and Prince Charles fulfilled their duty by having an heir and a spare in Prince William and Prince Harry, they didn't have a happy family life.

Princess Diana and Prince Charles were not suited for each other yet she stayed in her marriage for the sake of the crown until she couldn't take it anymore. She was also hounded by the press that spun both positive and negative stories about her personal life.

However, Camilla Parker-Bowles, Prince Charles' second wife, might have the hardest life as a royal because she was vilified by the press. Her affair with Prince Charles was deemed wrong and she was hated by the public for it. Even today, the Duchess of Cornwall isn't widely accepted and can't even be named Queen Consort once her husband becomes the King of England because that's the title that should have been given to Princess Diana.

A royal watcher said that, for a while, Camilla Parker-Bowles was not allowed to appear next to Prince Charles after Princess Diana's death. She was heavily blamed for Princess Diana's struggles but not once did Camilla utter anything in public.

Though technically commoners without titles before they married, both Princess Diana and Camilla Parker-Bowles were born to noble families. They were used to the life of aristocrats unlike Meghan Markle who had to learn a new lifestyle so completely different form her former life.

Meanwhile, according to Daily Express, Camilla might be the one person who could help Meghan Markle adjust to the media scrutiny. For one thing, they have something in common as divorcees aside from the intense intrusion they get from the public. They have also been subjected to a lot of negative press.

Despite being the love of Prince Charles' life for decades, Camilla Parker-Bowles was fiercely oppressed in the media because the public favored Lady Diana. Thus, the Duchess of Cornwall could empathize with what the Duchess of Sussex is going through especially when it came to the negative press.
