Joe Giudice is now in Italy waiting for his verdict following his release from prison. As the New Jersey restaurant owner is apart from his family now, there are reports his wife, Teresa Giudice, doesn't allow their kids to visit their dad.
A questionable tabloid made a story about Joe and Teresa's alleged "divorce war" that involved their four children. Allegedly, the 47-year-old star prohibited their daughters to go to Rome to see their father.
"Teresa forbids it! She's afraid he won't let them come back!" an alleged source told the magazine. The insider added that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is preparing to fight her husband for a custody battle to have their kids. Teresa, too, is said to have no plans to visit Joe either.
Teresa is too busy with her career to travel to Italy just to see him. The tipster continued to say that she is even blaming Joe for all the troubles they are into. Hence, she is reportedly gearing up to file for divorce and aiming to have the full custody of their girls.
Gossip Cop debunked this issue and cleared that Teresa never bans their kids to visit their father. A source close to the family even said that there is no truth to this made-up story. In fact, the whole family has a plan to go to Italy to see Joe.
According to Daily Mail Online, Teresa is bringing the "rest of the family" for a European reunion. The family's lawyer, James J. Leonard, revealed that the reality star, along with her four daughters, is set to visit Joe in Italy anytime this month.
With all the questions surrounding Teresa if she will see Joe amidst the rumors that their relationship is on the rocks, Leonard insisted that "she's going." "Again, why wouldn't she go? Joe is her husband ... I would caution your listeners, everything you read and hear, take it all with a grain of salt. People typically don't have the full story or an accurate story," Leonard told the host Amy Phillips in his appearance on SiriusXM's Reality Checked with Amy Phillips.
Leonard cleared that everyone, Teresa and the girls, is going to Italy to see Joe. He even stressed that it is definitely happening.
Last year, the construction builder was released from prison after being jailed for three years for fraud and other crimes. After his release, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained him. He was even scheduled to be deported. While fighting his deportation case, Joe chose to stay in Italy, instead of being held in an ICE facility.
