Three years can change a lot of things in a person's life. While everyone can relate, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry couldn't agree more. As it happened, it has been already three years since they first met and started dating.
No one can directly confirm when exactly the two started dating. Even so, reports claimed that the romantic relationship began in July 2016 -- thanks to a "common friend," who made their meeting possible.
Three to four months later, Prince Harry and the Kensington Palace confirmed his relationship with the former Suits actress. Although many expected it to be a happy announcement, the confirmation happened due to the prince's disappointments over the media for "attacking" his then-new girlfriend.
But, before all the media fiasco in November of that year, The Sun claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent the Halloween together in Toronto. Many are convinced that this was already the last moment they have in sharing a quiet and secret relationship.
As per the sources, the young prince flew to Meghan Markle's home in Toronto. During that year, she is still filming Suits, which explains her home location.
Meghan Markle also posted a photo on her own Instagram account, before finally deactivating the profile. Although Prince Harry was not seen in it, sources claimed that he was the one who took the photo.
The Star in Toronto also covered the same angle in 2016. As per the publication's sources, many from Meghan Markle's neighborhood saw two "blacked-out" SUV cars outside her home. Also, a Canadian cop car was present, which made the residents believed that Prince Harry was staying in Meghan's home for days.
It was also revealed that the pair did not go to parties or clubs, as they wanted to celebrate Halloween indoors. But, some sources attested that the two went out to "trick or treat" with Prince Harry wearing a mask.
If this truly happened, it seemed that the Sussex couple enjoyed a private and silent celebration of the holiday. However, this was no longer the case in the next Halloween.
According to Town and Country Mag, Meghan Markle finally opened up about the relationship in October 2017. This is just a month before Prince Harry popped the question to her. By November, the couple was engaged.
In Halloween 2018, the couple officially announced that they are expecting and Meghan Markle will give birth to baby Archie come the spring of 2019. Needless to say, the couple's Halloween this year has become a lot more special now that baby Archie is with them.
