Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher can be considered as one of the happiest couples in Hollywood. However, the two are still surrounded by a lot of rumors, including the 41-year-old actor's alleged alcohol abuse that his wife already started banning him from drinking.
A tabloid made up a story about Kutcher "drowning his sorrows" following the revelations of his ex-wife, Demi Moore, in her new tell-all book, Inside Out. Here, the 56-year-old actress revealed all the alleged secrets about their eight years of marriage.
A supposed insider made it look like Kutcher was so affected with Moore's revelations that he was "chugging beer like a frat boy" that made Kunis "disgusted." "Ashton's a dad, and there's no excuse for him to pound ten beers while watching football replays on TV in the middle of the week," the source said.
Allegedly, Kutcher kept telling his wife that he was only sipping a drink to decompress. However, Kunis felt horrified of his new "self-destructive habit" that she advised him to go for a run or do something healthy instead.
Hence, Kunis, allegedly, banned all the alcoholic drinks from their home. She, too, didn't buy her husband's "pity party." Instead, she always told him to move on from the embarrassing allegations of Moore. "She's telling him to quit [drinking] - or else," the source added.
Gossip Cop debunked this story and noted that nothing about the article is "remotely accurate." Indeed, Kutcher didn't like Moore's revelations, but he wasn't drowning in alcohol because of it. The Black Swan star's rep even opposed the questionable insider's claim, confirming there was no truth about the allegations. She didn't prohibit her husband from drinking, and she has no reason to do so.
People magazine even cleared that the memoir didn't affect Kutcher and Kunis' marriage in any way. They are now moving on with their lives and focusing more on their family.
Moore alleged that Kutcher cheated on her and even asked for a threesome when they were still married. But, no matter how shocking the revelations were, the That 70's Show stars just ignored it.
A reputable source said Kutcher and Kunis are "very much in love and have a strong and committed relationship." No one between them wanted adverse publicity and the promotion of Moore's books on TV couldn't do anything to shake them.
In fact, Kutcher and Kunis even went to the "happiest place on Earth" after the book's publication. They were, evidently, happy and not affected by the issues thrown against them.
