Han Seo-hee, who has exposed to YG Entertainment's singers such as B.I. and T.O.P., uncovered the affair of group Monsta X member Shownu (real name Son Hyun-woo).
On October 31st, Han Seo-hee released a report on her SNS, saying, "My wife cheated with Shownu and I got the same answer from a lawyer."
The whistleblower told Jung Da-eun that Shownu had an inappropriate relationship with a married woman, and Han Seo-hee exposed it. The revelation post is currently deleted.
Han Seo-hee's public photo shows that the person who is the legal representative of Shownu's agency, Starship Entertainment, said, "He didn't know that A was married and he was not aware that she had a boyfriend. If he knew, he would not have met her. He is not going to meet her in the future."
It also wrote, "Shownu has never been in contact with "A" since September 10. He does not plan to contact "A" for any reasons in the future, and also does not wish to become involved in your lawsuit against "A" in any form. Please keep the above in mind."
In this regard, Shownu's agency, Starship Entertainment, released an official statement as a press release on October 31st. It wrote, "Shownu was in contact with the woman in question prior to her marriage. The woman got married recently around August, but our agency confirmed that Shownu did not know at all because the woman did not tell Shownu."
The company explained, "Her husband contacted the agency, so we met up with him, and the whole story was explained. Afterwards, Shownu, who belatedly found out about her marriage, no longer contacted this woman at all."
In regards to the text that Han exposed, the company wrote, "Shownu revealed that he would not get involved in the matters of a married couple's relationship, and a text was sent via the law firm to confirm this stance."
The Starship also expressed its stance, "Regardless of the situation, we express apologies for causing emotional pain to the involved individuals and bringing trouble to fans. Furthermore, as an agency with the duty to protect our artists, we ask for your understanding of the possibility that we may inevitably take legal action regarding excessive misunderstandings and speculations."
Prior to Shownu, Wonho left the team due to Jung's exposure.
