In The Flash season 6 episode 6, Barry turned his attention to Ralph and prepares him for the responsibility without him. The events of Crisis on Infinite Earths is still several days away, but team Flash continues dealing with the consequences of the multiverse collision. Barry may not make it through so he's preparing his team for a world without him.
Ralph is at the center of The Flash season 6 episode 6. While Barry tries to find ways on how to survive and move forward with his family and friends, he's still preparing for the worst -- particularly his death in Crisis on Infinite Earths. He turned his attention to Ralph and will help him to be the next protector of Central City.
Barry will try to prepare Ralph for the ramifications of the Crisis on Infinite Earths, wherein he needs to sacrifice his life to save billions of people from the massive destruction across the multiverse. Barry's plan, however, doesn't go as expected and Ralph ends up teaching him a lesson. There are only a few episodes until the Crisis, so there are a lot of things that needed to be covered.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Syfy, Hartley Sawyer said that his character, Ralph, is not the same guy as the Crisis approaches. When Barry is gone, he said it will definitely affect Ralph since he really loves him. Hartley added he couldn't imagine what his character's life would be like without The Flash. Barry is also the reason Ralph is where he is now and also the reason why he's not still living in the gutters.
In another part of The Flash season 6 episode 6, Cecile is helping a recuperated Chester P. Runk to reclaim his identity. But, while doing this mission, she will eventually face her own self-discovery. Meanwhile, Caitlin/Killer Frost was not mentioned in the synopsis. So, there's a chance we won't see her in this episode.
The Flash season 6 episode 6 will air on Tuesday, Nov. 19, on The CW. This episode is directed by Danielle Panabaker and written by Jeff Hersh and Thomas Pound.
