Just a few months after they tied the knot last year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that the latter is pregnant with their firstborn. Although a lot of people rejoiced with the good news, speculations were roaming around the web that the Duke of Sussex may not be the real father of the former actress’ baby.

When baby Archie was born on May 6 of this year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle showed their son to the public as part of the royal protocol. The proud parents were so happy to reveal their baby, without knowing that there were talks about Archie not being the son of the Duke of Sussex.

On the online forum site Quora, one royal fan asked: “Is it true that Archie is not Prince Harry’s son?” Netizens then discussed the speculation.

“I suppose anything is possible, but come on,” one commented. “Of course Archie is Prince Harry’s son. Why would it not be? The birth happened more than 9 months after the wedding. Harry was just beyond when announcing Archie’s birth. He was literally beaming. Conspiracy theories can be entertaining but in this case? Come on.”

One fan pointed out that Archie is definitely Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son as he looked exactly what the couple’s baby should look like. “Archie Looks like a biracial/black baby. And he is definitely Harry's son. Meghan was married to Harry when she became pregnant,” they wrote.

Another fan was not too pleased that there are people who even think about Archie not being Prince Harry’s son. “I must ask you, what good does it bring to Archie, Prince Harry, the Duchess, or the world to ask such an intrusive question? This is the nastiest of gossip. Surely, you are better than that,” the fan shared.

However, Gossip Cop already debunked these claims in May. The fact-checking publication claimed there are no enough evidences to prove that this is true. Hence, this could just be another work of fiction created by fans who wants to create drama or get attention.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the only issue that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle faced regarding baby Archie. Previous reports revealed that there were people who believed that the Duchess of Sussex was not even pregnant in the first place.

One royal fan posted a video on YouTube, proving that Meghan Markle wasn’t really pregnant and was wearing a moonbump instead. Moonbump is a fake pregnant belly, which is made out of silicone and foam, making it more realistic.

The clip showed the heavily pregnant Meghan Markle squatting while petting a dog. When she stood up, it can be heard that there was a popping sound. Others, then, pointed out that a pregnant woman in her third trimester can't be able to squat in comfort as the former actress did.
