NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 9 is set to air later this week. Titled Kill Beale: Vol. 1, the upcoming suggests Barrett Foa's character, Eric Beale, is coming back. But then, this also means that there's a danger waiting for him within this episode.
Foa has been gone most of the season since he's working on Angels in America. But, the good news is that NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 9 marks the return of his character and many viewers were excited with his comeback.
Based on the synopsis of the upcoming episode, Sam and Callen will travel to San Francisco. These two will try to find Eric since he was kidnapped during a clandestine mission for Hetty. Foa's character has been working hard for an undercover mission, and although he's a capable agent, some people out there who want to harm him.
The title of NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 9 also suggests that Eric is in danger. This is bad news for the rest of the team, so they need to move faster to save him. Some photos of the upcoming episode also showed the character is trying to hide from a crew with guns and wearing night-vision goggles.
Once Foa's character returns, CarterMatt noted the series would probably become like its "old self." The show has been odd this season, especially since it bounces between one recurring fill-in character and the next. One of the recurring characters is Fatima, and many want her to stick around this season.
Right now, however, her status remains uncertain. Fatima, plays by Medalion Rahimi, has been assigned as one of Hetty's trademark secret missions. She needs to go to different places, and sometimes without communication with the outside world. She is not just a normal agent, and she's capable both mentally and physically.
According to CarterMatt, Fatima may stick around for the time being. Yet, she's not part of the series in the first place, and she's only a recurring character. Many also speculated the character would be leaving NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 at some point due to the nature of her work.
NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 9 will air on Sunday, Nov. 24, on CBS Television Network. Some guest stars set to appear in this episode include Mercy Malick as SFPD Officer Nancy McGrath, Chelsea Harris as Eloni, Jenson Cheng as fake NCIS Special Agent Mark Chen, Caleb Foote as CEO Sean Reynolds, and Anna Belknap as fake NCIS Special Agent Robin Ip.
