Everyone is intrigued by the relationship the royal family has, especially Queen Elizabeth II as a mother to her children. As a Monarch, she is understandably too busy with different royal engagements and leading the monarchy. However, an unearthed photo revealed just like an ordinary mom; Her Majesty also played and laughed with her kids.

In a photo shared by a fan page Windsor Royal House on Instagram, it revealed a rare snap of Princess Anne playing with her little brother, Prince Andrew. They were also with their mom, who helped Princess Royal to lift and swing the Duke of York on air.

The three looked happy, and it was seen with the smile on their faces. Prince Andrew's mouth was even wide open as he played in excitement.

Fans celebrated the sight of the picture, saying how "Beautiful Royal Family" they were. Some only left heart-eyed and heart emojis, expressing their love after seeing the snap.

Queen Elizabeth welcomed her first child, Prince Charles, in 1948. At the time, she was only 22 years old. After two years, she gave birth to her second kid, Princess Anne. Three years after, she was crowned as the Queen of Great Britain and head of the Commonwealth upon the death of his father, George VI.

As being the Queen kept her too busy, it took Queen Elizabeth more than a decade before she had another child. They welcomed Prince Andrew in 1960, followed by Prince Edward in 1964.

There was a huge age gap between Princess Anne and Prince Andrew. However, there are reports that they have a close relationship, as seen in their snap.

Princess Anne might be the one who was looking after her small brothers when their mother was away. There was even a time when Queen Elizabeth had to leave their only daughter and Prince Charles for six months at a young age to perform her royal duties right after her coronation.

According to Town and Country Magazine, this scenario suggested that Prince Charles was not close to his mom while growing up. Instead, he had a strong bond with his nannies and grandmother, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

Historian Robert Lacy revealed that Queen Elizabeth strongly believed that it would be better for her kids to stay in England with their nannies than to drag them across the globe. The Queen herself was brought up in that style. She even belonged to the class that routinely left their kids under the care of household staff.
