Brad Pitt has been rumored of doing a special gesture to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. The actor reportedly surprised Aniston with a flower bouquet during the 2019 People's Choice Awards.
Pitt may have sent his congratulations to the Friends actress for receiving the People's Icon Award at recent PCA. However, Aniston's rep denied reports that the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor did not personally deliver flowers to Aniston during the award ceremony.
The 2019 PCA bestowed Aniston with the Icon Award for her career achievements over the years. Woman's Day, however, reported that it was not the highlight of the night. The outlet alleged that behind the curtains of PCAs, there was an emotional moment happening at the backstage, particularly at Aniston's dressing room.
Pitt reportedly made a behind-the-scene surprise appearance to congratulate Aniston. The actress' former beau reportedly handed Jen a huge bouquet of white roses, tulips and lotus flowers that look similar to her wedding bouquet. The Morning Show actress allegedly teared up when Pitt showed up at her dressing room.
"Jen was more shocked than anyone that he'd come to support her. Her eyes welled up with tears. It meant a huge amount to her," the outlet source said.
The insider added since Pitt's controversial split with Angelina Jolie in 2016, the actor has been trying to win Aniston back. The source added that part of the Ad Astra actor's plan to revive his romance with Jen is to get close to her inner circle again.
Woman's Day then pointed out the recent edition of Variety's Actors on Actors series which featured Pitt and Adam Sandler, who is a close friend of Aniston. The outlet pointed out that Pitt struck bromance with Sandler, and it is a "clear sign" that Jen's friends are welcoming Pitt back into their circle.
Aniston and Sandler are close friends for years. They worked together in Murder Mystery this year as well as in 2011 romcom Just Got With It. Sandler presented the Icon Award to Aniston in 2019 PCA wherein he described the actress as one of his best friends who is not only beautiful but also a "caring role model with the biggest heart." The duo also returned together to the stage after their Netflix film Murder Mystery won Comedy Movie of the year.
Gossip Cop, however, disproved the latest dating rumor about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. The outlet cited Aniston's spokesperson's confirmation that Pitt was not in PCA nor did he surprise the actress with flowers.
