Kate Middleton and Prince William graced the annual Royal Variety Performance at the Palladium Theater in London on Monday, Nov. 18. The Cambridges witnessed the performance of the Marry Poppins cast that reminded them of the incredible skills of their two eldest kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge talked to the night's performers, including actors, actresses, singers, dancers, and acrobats, along with a few talented kids. Marry Poppins West End musical stars, Nuala Peberby, 14, and Fred Wilcox, 9, gifted Kate Middleton a bouquet.
According to People, the mother-of-three couldn't help but be fascinated with the kids' performance that she proudly told Peberby that Prince George, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 4, also enjoy putting on little shows. The young actress said that the future queen consort revealed that her children also love performing at home, especially her only daughter.
Kate Middleton and Prince William were also in awe with the exceptional talent of Aurelia, 6, when she showed her skills with the acrobatic group Zurcaroh. When she had the chance to talk to the duchess, she learned that her two kids also love doing acrobatics at home, like handstands and cartwheels, aside from performing.
Both Peberby and Aurelia were excited to meet the two members of the royal family. "I can't tell you how exciting it was to meet them," Peberby said while revealing Kate Middleton wanted to learn how they balanced their acting and school work. "It was such an honor to perform for them," Aurelia added.
While talking to the singer Petula Clark, she told Kate Middleton that she should bring Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to the show. Kate exclaimed that her children would surely love it.
Kate Middleton even revealed that the kids were excited when they learned where they were going. However, when Prince Gorge and Princess Charlotte asked their parents if they could join, Kate told them that "not on a school night."
InStyle reported that Princess Charlotte showed her acrobatic skills during the family's outing to a charity polo match, in which her dad and uncle, Prince Harry, played this summer. While playing soccer herself, the little princess took a break, balanced on one leg, and outstretched her arms above her head.
She and her older brother also seemed to be used in the outdoors. Just earlier this year, they were seen stealing the show at a local summer festival in Berkshire with their grandparents. A local villager even saw how they were having fun going from stall to stall, playing all the games.
