Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson are still in love with each other. The Australian singer dismissed split rumors by sharing his phone lock screen that features a photo of toddler Miley.
The couple has been inseparable since they started dating last month following Cyrus' split with husband Liam Hemsworth and her short-term romance with Kaitlynn Carter. Both Miley and Cody have shared several photos and videos of them as well as with the Cyrus family.
Miley even invited her new beau to celebrate Halloween with her family in Nashville and also as her plus one at her brother's wedding. The couple is expected to spend Thanksgiving together too.
Rumors, however, broke this week that the Hannah Montana alum is taking a break from Simpson to focus on herself. The speculation stemmed from observations that Simpson hadn't shared a photo of Miley since November 8 when she underwent a vocal chord surgery.
As for Cyrus, her last mentioned of her boyfriend was on November 5 during the wedding of her brother, Braison, earlier this month. Both are notoriously posting photos and videos of themselves since they started dating last month. The sudden halt in showing PDAs on social media made many to wonder what is happening between the two.
In what seems to be a response to the rumors that he and her lady love are heading to splitsville, Simpson showed a sweet gesture and shared on his Instagram Story a snap of his phone lock screen. It is a photo of Miley when she was young. In the photo, the "Slide Away" singer is beaming at the camera, showing her sparkling little teeth.
Meanwhile, E! News cited a source confirming that Cyrus and Simpson are still together. In fact, the insider said the couple just saw each other last week when Cody visited her in Tennessee. The source added Miley has been resting from her surgery but she keeps in touch with her boyfriend.
Since summer, Miley's love life has been under scrutiny. It started when she announced in August that she and Liam are ending their nearly eight months of marriage. Later that month, the "Wrecking Ball" singer started a relationship with Carter, which ended abruptly the following month. Then, Miley was spotted having PDA moments with Simpson.
The former The Voice judge received backlash when her intimate photos with Cody went public. In a lengthy post on Twitter, she fired back on her critics, telling them to get used to her dating.
