The earnings of Donald Trump Jr. is expected to move this year following the release of his new book, which coincidentally is also involved a controversy. But how much Don Jr. really worth at the moment.
According to Forbes Magazine, getting information about the net worth of Trump's children-Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric-is quite challenging. However, upon digging deeper into property records, court documents, and government filings, the publication estimated the net worth of Trump Jr. at $25 million.
It appeared that unlike most wealthy children, Trump's kids are not getting richer from trust funds or inheriting their family business. Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric do not own any of the Trump Organization's vast holdings.
The only business venture in which their father allowed them to invest into is at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. Each of President Trump's three eldest children reportedly owns a 7.5% stake in the property which is worth about $6 million.
This means Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric's money comes from the hefty salaries they receive as longtime executives at the Trump Organization and from their other investments or businesses. Trump Jr. works as executive vice president at the Trump Organization. He helped manage the company's property portfolio before he and his brother, Eric, were put in charge of its overall operations while their father is in the White House.
Among the assets of DTJ is a seven-bedroom mansion at the Hamptons that is worth $4.4 million. The house is reportedly situated at a 3.9 acres of land and has access to a 25-acre natural spring pond.
The Apprentice star also owns a 5,900-square-foot apartment in a midtown Manhattan luxury tower and an upstate New York cabin. Don Jr. also reportedly owns a share of a 171-acre upstate New York hunting reserve alongside his brother Eric.
He also has several outside investments. However, in some of it, he either lost money or the project never took off.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr. dropped his book Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us earlier this month. It jumped to the New York Times' best-seller list but there were speculations that his father's Republican Party has a hand on it.
It was suspected that GOP spent nearly $100,000 for the book's bulk orders. There were also reports that the party also offered a free signed copy of Triggered on the day of its release. The special copy is reportedly offered to those who donated more than $50 to RNC. This presumably also boosts the sales of the book.
Triggered currently sells at Amazon for $17.98. How his book sales affect his net worth is remain to be seen.
