The '2019 Asia Artist Awards in Vietnam' gave the grand prize to Jang Dong Gun, GOT7, TWICE, Red Velvet, and Seventeen.

The '2019 Asia Artist Awards in Vietnam' (hereinafter '2019 AAA') was held at the Vietnam National Stadium in Hanoi with 18 singers and 8 actors.

The event was hosted by Leeteuk, who has led AAA stably for four consecutive years since 2016, and Lim Ji-yeon, Ahn Hyo-seop and Nancy also joined newly this time.

The grand prizes were given to actor Jang Dong-gun, who showed his presence in the drama '' Arthdal Chronicles '', and singers GOT7, TWICE, Red Velvet, Seventeen who attracted fans from all over the world with colorful performances.

Shortly after receiving the grand prize, Jang Dong-Gun said, "I thank everyone who loved 'Arthdal Chronicles.' The drama was a difficult challenge for everyone, and I think this award will give great comfort. We all have positive sides, but we also live with trials. I would like to encourage you to overcome them without feeling discouraged. Lastly, I thank the Star News staff for providing this opportunity."

GOT7 shared, "We sincerely thank Ahgase (GOT7's fans). We think this is an award given to us by Ahgase. We'll keep working hard, and we'll never change." Jinyoung added, "2019 was a very cold year. We'll receive this great award and share the energy with our juniors with the hopes that 2020 will be a warm year."

TWICE said, "Receiving this award, it feels like the time we spent dreaming of becoming singers and debuting are all passing by. As time passes, we're feeling the value of the people next to us. We thank ONCE and the staff. We will become healthier and healthier as time passes."

Momo continued, "Thank you for giving us such a big award even though we're lacking. Though Mina wasn't able to join us, I think her heart is here with us. It's the 1500th day since our debut, so I will give today's Daesang to ONCE."

The girl group Red Velvet said, "Something we said to our fans during our concert was, 'We'll always show performances that give you happiness.' We're very thankful, and we'll continue to develop this positive relationship. This is our first Daesang since our debut. We'll keep working hard and repay you with good songs and performances."

Seventeen said, "It's an honor to be able to receive such a valuable award as SEVENTEEN. We thank AAA and Star News for giving us a great award, and we truly thank Carats for making us shine brightly. We as SEVENTEEN make our own albums, so we're even happier that we were given such an amazing award."
