Fans couldn't be happier if their favorite couples in Friends are dating in real life. Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry sparked new dating rumors after the two recently hung out together.

Cox and Perry famously played lovers Monica and Chandler, respectively, in the entire 10-season run of the iconic sitcom. The two had a mini-reunion earlier this month in which Cox shared on Instagram a selfie of her and Perry.

"Guess who I had lunch with today...I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier?" she wrote in the caption along with the hashtag #realfriends.

It sparked rumors that the on-screen couple is dating in real life. The buzz got louder when their reunion was followed by a Us Weekly story that Perry has always been in love with his on-screen wife.

Perry reportedly never fully been able to get over her after they casually dated when Cox had a brief split from Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid. At the moment, the alleged couple is not putting a label on their relationship, but they are excited to see where it might lead them.

The Us Weekly story was followed by OK! Magazine's three-page spread claiming the two finally admitted their true feelings for each other. According to the outlet, everything started this month when Cox met up with Perry after he was seen looking messy outside of a restaurant in West Hollywood.

Cox reportedly dropped everything and meet Perry, who admitted that he is in love with her. The actress allegedly responded by revealing that she is also in love with him.

The site further claimed the two told their Friends co-stars that they are now dating. Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow reportedly approved the romance as they have known long ago that they are meant for each other.

Unfortunately, the real-life romance between Cox and Perry will remain as a dream to their fans as there is no special relationship happening between the two other than being friends. The tabloid stories have been debunked and reps of the stars have also denied reports that the two went on a date recently.

According to the stars' reps, the photo of Cox and Perry that the former shared earlier this month just showed two friends sharing lunch and nothing more. Cox is still in a relationship with McDaid. Perry, on the other hand, is believed to be single at the moment after his break up from Mean Girls actress Lizzy Caplan in 2012.
