Prince Harry has been known to be one of the members of the Royal Family who is very outspoken. He also loves attention since he was a kid. The Duke of Sussex admitted in an unearthed interview that he wants people to pay attention to what he does before his brother's children took over the spotlight.

In her 2018 biography, titled Harry: Conservations with the Prince, author Angela Levin shared how Harry sees and approaches his public life. She said Princess Diana's youngest son treats life like a race. Levin said Harry wants to make a mark as early as he can.

"I want to make something of my life. I now feel there is just a smallish window when people are interested in me before George and Charlotte take over and I've got to make the most of it," Levin quoted Harry as saying (via Express).

Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, one, have seen in public events occasionally along with their parents Prince William and Kate Middleton. Though the siblings have yet to do official royal duties, the public's attention is already drawn into them. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children are expected to take up more responsibilities as they grow older especially Prince George who is third in the line of succession next to his father.

Levin also asked Harry about his thoughts for being bumped down into the royal hierarchy because of Princess Charlotte's birth in 2015. Meghan Markle's husband is not bothered at all being at the fifth place in the line of succession. Harry expressed his love to his nephews and niece and he wouldn't wish ill of them.

Clearly, Harry enjoys his role as a Prince but he doesn't want to be a King. All he wants is to do his royal duties as much as he could.

It can be recalled that in another interview in 2017, Harry remembered his young adult life where he got involved in several scandals. The Duke of Sussex revealed that during this time, he wondered if living as a member of the royal family would be worthwhile.

He even suggested in the interview that no one in the royal family wants to be King or Queen. Apparently, Harry got reprimanded by his family because of that remark.

Prince Harry along with his wife Meghan Markle are carrying their royal duties together. They recently visited Africa where Harry expressed his support in efforts of clearing minefield in Angola by walking in the dangerous land that Diana walked into 22 years ago.

Harry and Meghan are currently taking a hiatus from their royal duties. They celebrated Thanksgiving with Meghan's mother Dorian Ragland in London. The Sussexes will not be spending Christmas at Sandringham with the rest of the royal family this year.
